Partial quotients is my favorite (and the students'), but I call it Hang 7 because the bracket looks like a big 7.

ReplyDeleteI tell my kids this saying: Does Mcdonals Sell Cheese Burgers(Divide, Multiply, Subtract, Check, Bring down) this has helped my class understand the process. Now they just need to "know" their multiplication and division facts
