Last summer, I bought homework folders (on clearance) from Really Good Stuff and to give them a little extra support I ran them through the laminator. Every single one made it the whole year! The ones I bought fit my rock star theme which was a bonus! (I am bummed that they are not available this year) The pictures below are from day 176!
Here are the folders I am going to order this year with ELA and math resources printed on them. They are worth the money! $18.88 for 12.
What do you use for homework folders?
WOW! I love those math folders. That isn't a bad price either. I'm definitely going to look in them. Thanks for sharing this.

Those do look like they are worth it, nice find!! I've been using binders for our homework, but I love these folders A LOT! :)
ReplyDeleteI used the same folders for my weekly "Take Home Folders" (but a sports theme) and didn't laminate them. They lasted all year, too (only went home once a week, though).

I also used the folders from Really Good Stuff. Bummed out that they don't offer them again as I have 3 science classes and wanted a different one for each class.
ReplyDeleteMy folders went home four nights a week! No homework on the week-end.

ReplyDeleteI used the cheap pocket folders with a piece of packing tape on the binding. I only had to replace two last year; I don't mind because they're cheap.
ReplyDeleteI am so sad that Really Good Stuff stopped carrying those. I have used them for years. They really held up well. Now what??? UGH! If it ain't broke, don't fix it I always say.
ReplyDeleteI run the folder through the laminator opened and run the edge of a scissor blade along the pocket to cut it open.
