I taught a few mini-lessons from Razzle Dazzle Writing last week. The book is kid and teacher friendly and contains many printables. I have never been so excited to teach writing!
One of the lessons we did was "Show, Don't Tell." I projected the following page on the board. We read and discussed their examples.

ReplyDeleteOMG! I teach from this book too. I have done so many of these lessons in my classroom. It's a wonderful book full of great resources. What I truly love is how kid-friendly it is. Have you ever seen Melissa Forney in person?
ReplyDeleteI believe I have seen her like 4 times last year and she is so amazing and full of wonderful of ideas that stir up the imagination. Are there any other books you teach writing from?
