Show and Tell Tuesday May 2016

I am linking up with Forever in 5th Grades Monthly Linky Party called Show and Tell Tuessday.  Here are a few things that I'd like Show and Tell!
These are a few of my favorite things this month...
My teaching partner Laney
Bleeding Hearts blooming on Mother's Day
Erin Condren planners (on sale)
 Using AngLegs to teach Geometry.
We are working on Polygons, classifying triangles and quadrilaterals.
This is one of my Donor's Choose Projects that was funded this year.
Giant poster was part of my project too.
Started our Engineering Unit.
We looked at building materials and tools.
I love dressing up!!!
Went to Concord on our fifth grade field trip.
Love having history in our backyard.
Yes, that is the original lamp.

  3. You are so lucky to live where history was made. We went on a SKYPE field trip to the Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum. The kids got dressed in colonial costumes. It was a great experience. Lexington and Concord are very special places.
    Thanks for sharing.

  4. I'm so jealous that you get to take your kids to Concord! I would love to be able to take my fifth graders to a Revolutionary War historical site. This summer I am going to Philadelphia for the first time, and I hope to also go to Valley Forge. Thanks for linking up!

  5. What a great field trip! I love when my curriculum lines up with something in the area. When I taught Ancient Rome in Morocco and could actually take the kids to the ruins, it was so much more impactful than when I taught it here in the US. I'm sure you're kids get more out of US history than most other kids.
